I taught 7th and/or 8th grade fine art classes. These are survey classes that introduce students to the art offerings in HS. We do drawing, pastels, painting, hand building with clay, bead making, baskets, book making, several types of print making, mosaics, and whatever captures student interest.

In HS I am the drawing and painting teacher. My time is equally split between the two age groups. I enjoy the characteristics of both middle school and high school students. It is fun to watch my students develop over their time at U32. In high school I teach Introduction to Drawing, Drawing, Painting, Art Menu, and Fine Art Studio.

I was a volunteer for Unified Sports, an co-curricular program that unites athletes with and without disabilities. I started a similar program in the arts; Art is for Everyone.

Reason for leaving: I was ready for a new challenge.
